If you’re not already a member of our email list, head to this link and complete the WinCode. Where it says ‘Win Code’, please use this code: COUNTDOWN24 & click on the ‘Did I Win’ button. From there, you MUST click the SIGN UP button. That’s it, you’re added to our list!
Enter the Countdown to Spring Sweepstakes Daily!
In order to enter the sweepstakes, you must live in an eligible BigYellowBag delivery zone. Head to this link and enter your postal/zip code. If you’re in an eligible delivery zone, a comprehensive product list will populate and you’re allowed to enter the sweepstakes.
Make sure you’re following BigYellowBag on Facebook and Instagram to check out daily prizes and winners! They will also be listed at the bottom of this blog post. Daily prize winners will be posted on the following day for Day 1 and Day 2, while Day 3, Day 4, and Day 5 winners will be drawn on Monday March 18th, 2024, and that day will also be a bonus entry day for the Grand Prize, which we’ll be drawing for on Tuesday March 19th, 2024!

What if you gave everyone a discount instead of having all your existing customers pay for a few random people to get this very valuable prize – which they might not even need? How much of what I am paying for my Yellow Bag is going to someone else instead of just paying for the product? I am happy to pay for the product but I don’t agree to subsidizing a lottery.

Thanks so much for your comment. While I appreciate your concerns regarding the contest, I assure you that the costs of these sweepstakes are not passed down to our customers. We hope that the customers entering the contest do need the soil, and if the past winners are any indication, the prizes are always well received! Our Countdown to Spring Sweepstakes has become an exciting event for many of our customers, and it truly gets us all looking forward to Spring time when our gardens are thriving. Our local suppliers happily provide free BigYellowBags to contest winners, and don’t consider that cost a burden, but instead see it as a boon to our communities! Getting to give away BigYellowBags to lucky, eager customers brings us joy, and so we don’t mind giving away some free BigYellowBags to kick off the season on a high note.
Hopefully this provides some added context NAF. We would never hold fun contests like this if the costs were then incurred to our customers. We continue to provide early season discounts as we always have, and even provide extra discounts to returning customers.
